Shipping paintings...

If you're thinking about buying a piece of artwork from my website (and I hope you are!) you may be thinking about the big question:

How much will shipping cost?

That is a great question, and there is no "one-size-fits-all" answer.

Some of my work is very large and very heavy; however, shipping costs are not always as scary as they might seem.

The best thing to do if you are thinking about buying a painting is to contact me first. That way, I can measure and weigh the painting, figure out what kind of shipping method would be best and most cost-effective, and then give you a shipping estimate.

Once we have agreed on the shipping method and cost, I will either ask you to add the shipping cost to the total purchase or, if you have already paid through the website, send me the additional shipping cost so that I can mail the package.

Please note that when checking out through the website here, the point of sale says that shipping is $0.00 - that is incorrect. The point of sale system defaults to $0.00 since I do not have automated shipping costs generated through the site. Please -- as always -- be aware that in addition to the listed cost of the work of art, additional shipping costs will need to be paid by you, the buyer.
