The style of this collage is a tribute to one of my favorite artists -- the great Robert Rauschenberg -- and the title is a direct reference to a page in a paperback book written about Rauschenberg, and which I was reading at the time I made this. Incidentally the book is called "Off the Wall" by Calvin Tomkins, a great if at times dense (like most art writing) book to read but essential reading for a Rauschenberg aficionado. The book fell apart and so I decided to put it right in the collage. Ready to hang. Contact me for shipping information.
