This piece is on loose, unstretched canvas. Shipping will be reasonable. Inspired by my time in Italy, I wanted to paint a simple country house sitting in the hot sun on a summer day. But it ended up being more than that. To me, this is a meditation on space and solitude, somewhat like later de Chirico works I have enjoyed looking at over the years.
