Sangiovese is the most widely grown grape in Italy. While it's never been my absolute favorite, my relationship to Sangiovese goes way back. It's almost impossible not to drink some when you go to Italy.
When l think of wine I typically think of tradition, old world luxury, vineyards, barrels, musty cellars...which is why I like to funk it up a bit with some bright colors and futuristic patterns. Kind of a new take on things, perhaps?
